About Julie Schultz

I grew up in a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin as the youngest of 7 children, and spent my teen summers working in a cheese factory.
A successful high school track and cross country career led me to an athletic scholarship at the University of Wisconsin – Parkside, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Business/Personnel Management with a minor in Psychology.
After years of working as a Human Resource Specialist and volunteering in a battered women’s shelter, a sexual assault and domestic violence hotline and a teen runaway shelter, I took time off to raise my daughter and son.
When re-entering the workforce, I wanted to take the best of my professional skills and channel them into the exciting new field of Life Coaching.
Two Life Coach certifications later, under the wise and amazing guidance of both Marcia Wieder, the Dream Coach at Dream University, and Tim Kelley, the Know Your Purpose Coach, I began coaching individuals and groups in 2005 and engaging in corporate speaking.
I offer clients a multi-faceted approach to coaching, which includes the latest research and techniques from the field of neuroscience, psychology and coaching.
Being an avid reader, books on brain research fascinate and instruct me endlessly.
Life Coaching typically does not involve delving into the past. However, my training and background make me uniquely qualified to do this effectively.
My personal interests include: reading, biking, paddle boarding, hiking, travel, tennis, cooking, dining and sampling new ethnic cuisine, creative writing and art.
I have a deep faith and work with clients of all faiths and belief systems.
